PROMOTING AND ENGAGING IN EDUCATIONAL, CIVIC AND INTER-CULTURAL ACTIVITIES THAT ENRICH THE LIVES OF MEMBERS OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY AT LARGE. WE IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES THAT ADDRESS THE MOST CRITICAL NEEDS OF UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.

PROGRAMS ARE IMPLEMENTED IN THE OAKLAND BAY AREA TO STRENGTHEN THE COMMUNITIES. THE CHAPTER HAS FIVE FACETS OF PROGRAMING: THE ARTS, NATIONAL TRENDS, INTERNATIONAL TRENDS AND SERVICES, SERVICES TO YOUTH AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. AN ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM WAS ALSO IMPLEMENTED DURING THE YEAR.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED ANNUALLY TO STUDENTS ATTENDING A 4 YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.
