Part 3
2ND MILE OPERATES HOPE HOUSE, A LONG-TERM TEEN HOMELESS SHELTER FOR YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14-18.HOPE HOUSES MISSION IS TO SUPPORT YOUTH AFFECTED BY HOMELESSNESS, NEGLECT, ABANDONMENT, AND/OR ABUSE, BY MINISTERING TO THEIR PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS. 90% OF OUR GRADUATING SENIORS END UP ATTENDING COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
2ND MILE URBAN MINISTRIES PROVIDES WEEKEND/WEEKLONG CAMPS FOR AT RISK YOUTH DURING THE SUMMER AND WINTER MONTHS. THIS TIME IS USED FOR SPIRITUAL MENTORSHIP AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.
