NIST MEP PROJECT, ETP AND EVENTS: THE CORPORATION FOR MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE (MANEX), A NONPROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION, WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1995 TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO SMALL AND MID-SIZE MANUFACTURERS IN 14 NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COUNTIES. MANEX OPERATES AS A PARTNER WITH THE CALIFORNIA MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY CONSULTING (CMTC) VIA A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT GENERATING 50% EXPENSE MATCH THROUGH CMTC'S FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY (NIST) MEP.
