THE MISSION OF CASA OF JACKSON AND JOSEPHINE COUNTIES IS TO PROVIDE SPECIALLY TRAINED COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TO ADVOCATE FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN IN THE PURSUIT OF SAFE AND PERMANENT HOMES.

RECRUITED, TRAINED, AND SUPPORTED COURT APPOINTED VOLUNTEER ADVOCATES WHO SPEAK UP FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN SO THEY CAN THRIVE IN SAFE, PERMANENT HOMES. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR COVERED BY THIS RETURN, CASA USED 259 VOLUNTEERS TO ADVOCATE FOR 747 CHILDREN. 276 OF THOSE CASES CLOSED IN THE PERIOD, AND 256 NEW CHILDREN CAME INTO CARE. CASA ALSO MANAGES FAMILY FINDING AND CONNECTIONS, A PROGRAM WHICH RESEARCHES, LOCATES, AND HELPS REUNITE CHILDREN WITH LIFELONG FAMILY CONNECTIONS.
