WE MOBILIZE VOLUNTEERS TO COMPLETE BUILDING REPAIRS THAT IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF SAN FRANCISCO HOMES AND COMMUNITY FACILITIES.

OUR SAFE AT HOME (SAH) PROGRAM PROVIDES YEAR-ROUND REPAIRS AND MODIFICATIONS THAT INCREASE HOME HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR LOW-INCOME SAN FRANCISCANS. SKILLED VOLUNTEERS INSTALL GRAB BARS, RAISED TOILET SEATS, AND HANDRAILS. THROUGH SAH WE ALSO REPLACE WORN CARPET, REPAIR REAR STAIRWAYS, PERFORM MINOR ELECTRICAL WORK, AND MORE. WE SAW AN INCREASE IN APPLICATION AND HELPED OVER 200 RESIDENTS OF SAN FRANCISCO.
