DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR, THE $2,500,000 AWARD WAS PRESENTED TO CAMFED, THE CAMPAIGN FOR FEMALE EDUCATION, DURING A VIRTUAL CEREMONY HELD ON OCTOBER 13, 2021. THROUGHOUT THE CALENDAR YEAR, THE HILTON HUMANITARIAN PRIZE DEPARTMENT WORKS TO VET POTENTIAL PRIZE RECIPIENTS, PLAN AND PRODUCE AN ANNUAL PRIZE CEREMONY AND HUMANITARIAN SYMPOSIUM, AND ENGAGE WITH PRIZE LAUREATES, INCLUDING THROUGH THE HILTON HUMANITARIAN PRIZE LAUREATE VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE, WHICH WAS LAUNCHED ON MAY 20, 2021.
