THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE MUSEUM IS TO STIMULATE INTEREST IN, INCREASE KNOWLEDGE OF, AND MAINTAIN WATERCRAFT AND MARINE ARTIFACTS SIGNIFICANT IN LAKE TAHOE'S MARITIME HISTORY THROUGH HISTORIC PRESERVATION, INTERPRETATION AND PUBLIC EDUCATION.

THE MUSEUM HAD EXHIBITS ON DISPLAY AND HOSTED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE COMMUNITY ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS DUE TO COVID. ADDITIONALLY, THE MUSEUM HELD CURATOR AND PUBLIC PROGAMMING STAFF TO CARRY OUT MUSEUM MISSION RELATED OBJECTIVES.
