THE MISSION OF NAMI SOLANO COUNTY IS TO: OFFER EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY TO THOSE WITH A MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THEIR FRIENDS. ENCOURAGE INCLUSION OF FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF THEIR LOVED ONES WITH MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION. PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND BETTER TREATMENT OF THOSE WITH MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION. PROMOTE RESEARCH AND ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT MODALITIES. SOLICIT AND RECEIVE FUNDS FOR THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE ABOVE PURPOSES. THE SOLANO COUNTY CALIFORNIA CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS IS A GRASS ROOTS, SELF-HELP, SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO IMPROVING AND HELPING FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY MENTAL ILLNESS. NAMI SOLANO COUNTY IS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, NAMI SOLANO COUNTY INCLUDES THE COMMUNITIES OF DIXON, VACAVILLE, FAIRFIELD, VALLEJO, BENICIA, SUISUN, RIO VISTA AS WELL AS OTHER COMMUNITIES WITHIN NAPA COUNTY.
