FOBTC'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE CAMP TUOLUMNE FAMILY CAMP EXPERIENCE FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

FOBTC DEVOTED THE ORGANIZATION'S TIME AND ATTENTION TOWARDS CONTINUING TO COLLECT PLEDGE PAYMENTS FOR ITS REBUILD FUND CAPITAL CAMPAIGN IN 2019, AND LAUNCHED A NEW INITIATIVE IN 2021, THE CENTENNIAL CAMPAIGN. THIS CAMPAIGN HAS 4 GOALS TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE REBUILDING OF THE COMMUNITY'S BELOVED CITY OF BERKELEY TUOLUMNE FAMILY CAMP - RESTORING NATURE, MAINTAINING TRADITIONS IN THE PROGRAMMING AND TRAINING OF NEW STAFF, RECREATING THE ART, ACTIVITIES, AND SONGS, AND BUILDING A SAFE, DIVERSE, EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE SPACE FOR NEW STAFF AND CAMPERS WHEN CAMP OPENS. TUOLUMNE FAMILY CAMP IS LOCATED OFF OF HIGHWAY 120 NEAR YOSEMITE AND WAS BURNED TO THE GROUND IN THE DEVASTATING RIM FIRE OF 2013. THE CENTENNIAL CAMPAIGN ENTAILED REACHING OUT TO THE BERKELEY TUOLUMNE FAMILY CAMP COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR THROUGH A VARIETY OF VIRTUAL EVENTS, UPDATES, AND INDIVIDUAL VIRTUAL MEETINGS.

FOBTC HELD ITS ANNUAL GALA AS A LIVE EVENT ON OCTOBER 16, 2021. THE EVENT WAS HELD OUTSIDE AND INCLUDED A SILENT AUCTION AND LIVE AUCTION, WITH A TICKET SUGGESTED DONATION. THE GALA WAS SUCCESSFUL IN CREATING COMMUNITY, HELPING FOBTC MEET SOME ITS CENTENNIAL CAMPAIGN GOALS, BUT NOT ITS FINANCIAL FUNDRAISING GOALS.

FOBTC WAS UNABLE TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN 2021 DUE TO HAZARDOUS AIR CONDITIONS FROM THE NEARBY CALDOR FIRE. THERE WERE NO IN-PERSON EVENTS IN 2021. SIGNIFICANT REVENUE WAS LOST BECAUSE OF THIS.
