THEATER IN EDUCATION. FUNDED BY MIRIAM AND PETER HAAS FUND, YPT'S THEATER IN EDUCATION PROGRAM SENDS EARLY-EDUCATION THEATER SPECIALISTS INTO SCHOOLS WITHOUT BUDGETS FOR ARTISTIC CURRICULUM. BECAUSE SO MANY SAN FRANCISCO SCHOOLS ARE CURRENTLY WITHOUT ARTS PROGRAMS OF ANY KIND, YPT'S THEATER IN EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES CRUCIAL ENRICHMENT THAT WILL GIVE CHILDREN A LEG UP IN YEARS TO COME.
THEATER CAMPS. PARTNERING WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO CHILDREN'S ART CENTER, WE OFFER A FULL DAY OR HALF DAY PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE. THESE CAMPS ARE DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-10.
THEATER ACADEMY. YPT OFFERS A VARIETY OF CLASSES TO ALL AGES OF CHILDREN FROM 5 TO 17. ALL OF THESE CLASSES ARE DESIGNED TO SPARK AND CULTIVATE A LOVE OF THEATER IN THE CHILDREN WE WORK WITH.
