THE FOUNDATION TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED DIRECT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES DURING THE CURRENT TAX YEAR DUE TO AN EMERGENCY SITUATION CAUSED BY COVID PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES THAT ADVERSELY AFFECTED ARTE ITALIAS OPERATIONS AND THE WELL-BEING AND SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES, CONSULTANTS AND GUESTS. THE FOUNDATION PLANS TO RE-START DIRECT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR AS COVID PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES AND RESTRICTIONS HAVE SUBSIDED. THE FOUNDATION DID INCUR CERTAIN MAINTENANCE, PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS THAT ARE REFLECTED IN THE CURRENT TAX RETURN.
