EXHIBITS & TOURS THE PETALUMA MUSEUM ASSOCIATION (PMA) MAINTAINS EXHIBITS AT THE HISTORICAL LIBRARY LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN PETALUMA. THE SECOND FLOOR HOUSES A PERMANENT EXHIBIT ON THE HISTORY OF PETALUMA WHILE THE FIRST FLOOR IS USED FOR A ROTATING EXHIBITS. THE PMA ALSO OFFERS PETALUMA HISTORY TOURS LED BY COSTUMED DESIGNS, OFTEN APPEARING IN HISTORICAL ATTIRE. CONCERTS WITH ITS STUNNING ACOUSTICS, INTIMATE SIZE AND CLASSICAL ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR, THE PETALUMA HISTORICAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM AFFORDS PERFORMERS AND CONCERT GOERS ALIKE THE ULTIMATE IN SOUND EXPERIENCE. THE PMA HOSTS 3-5 CONCERTS EACH YEAR, WITH STYLES INCLUDING CLASSICAL, JAZZ, CHAMBER, AND MORE. ARTIFACT COLLECTION PRESERVATION & RESEARCH THE MUSEUM HAS A VAST COLLECTION OF LOCAL HISTORICAL ITEMS. GREAT CARE IS TAKEN TO PRESERVE AND CATALOG THESE ITEMS SO THAT THEY MAY BE ENJOYED AND STUDIED FOR YEARS TO COME. THE PMA ALSO MAINTAINS THE HOPPY HOPKINS RESEARCH LIBRARY. THIS COLLECTION CONTAINS BOOKS AND FILES THAT ASSIST IN HISTORY, GENEALOGY AND ARCHITECTURAL RESEARCH OF PETALUMA AND CLOSE ENVIRONS.
