DISCOVERY GATEWAY CHILDREN'S MUSEUM'S MISSION IS TO INSPIRE CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES TO IMAGINE, DISCOVER, AND CONNECT WITH THEIR WORLD TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THE MUSEUM FULFILLS ITS MISSION BY SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES OF ALL BACKGROUNDS AND PROVIDING THEM WITH A LEARNING EXPERIENCE THAT IS INCLUSIVE AND ACCESSIBLE TO ALL.

PROVIDED HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE, EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS AND PROGRAMS EMPHASIZING EARLY CHILDHOOD, ARTS AND STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH) FOR 300,472 GUESTS ON-SITE AND 22,981 THROUGH COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS AND PRESENTED CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS SCIENCE OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO 64,180 FIFTH-GRADE AND KINDERGARTEN PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF UTAH, ON-SITE SCIENCE FIELD TRIPS AND HANDS-ON SCIENCE TEACHER TRAINING.
