EAST BAY INTEGRATED CARE INC., A NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING SERVICES THROUGH HOSPICE OF THE EAST BAY THAT INCLUDE MEDICAL, EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR PATIENTS WITH LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS AND THEIR FAMILIES. MEDICALLY QUALIFIED PATIENTS ARE ACCEPTED REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY AND A SLIDING SCALE FEE IS AVAILABLE. BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT IS ALSO OFFERED TO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY AT NO COST. A PALLIATIVE CARE PROGRAM MEETS THE NEEDS OF PATIENTS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY OR ARE NOT READY FOR HOSPICE SERVICES. THE PROGRAM SERVICES ARE SUPPORTED BY FUNDS RAISED THROUGH SOLICITING DONATIONS, GRANTS, EVENTS AND THE OPERATION OF 6 THRIFT STORES.
