TO PROVIDE LOCAL ARTIST AN OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE SONOMA ARTS GUILD BASED ON ARTISTIC ABILITY SO THAT THEY CAN BUILD THEIR ARTISTIC REPUTATION AND PRESENT THEIR WORK TO THE PUBLIC FOR SALE IN A RETAIL GALLERY.OPERATION OF THE ARTS GUILD OF SONOMA RETAIL GALLERY THAT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISPLAYING FOR SALE ARTWORK OF THE MEMBER ARTISTS AND FOR THE BENEFIT, ENJOYMENT AND ENRICHMENT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.SPONSOR A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ART SHOW, THE NONPROFIT PLEIN AIRE FOUNDATION PROVIDES US A GRANT AND WE ALSO RECEIVE DONATIONS OF MATERIALS (FINE LINE DONATES CANVASES). THE SHOW IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENCOURAGING YOUNG ARTIST AND DISPLAYING THEIR ARTWORK TO THE PUBLIC IN OUR RETAIL ART GALLERY FOR THE BENEFIT, ENJOYMENT AND ENRICHMENT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. TO ORGANIZE AND PRESENT JURIED ART SHOW THAT IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR SUBMISSION AND TO PROVED AWARDS TO THE TOP THREE PARTICIPANTS. TO PRESENT THE JURIED SHOW FOR THE BENEFIT, ENJOYMENT OF THE PUBLIC FOR FOUR WEEKS IN OUR RETAIL GALLERY AND TO OFFER FOR SALE THE DISPLAYED WORKS.
