SAN FRANCISCO SUICIDE PREVENTION OFFERS A VARIETY OF SERVICES OVER THE PHONE, THROUGH TEXT AND ONLINE CHAT, TRAINING AND OUTREACH IN PERSON, AND IN HOUSE SERVICES FOR SUPPORT GROUPS WHO WANT EDUCATION OR GRIEF COUNSELING. WE RECEIVE OVER 72,000 CALLS AND CONTACTS EVERY YEAR.


CRISIS LINE 415/781-0500------------------------TRAINED VOLUNTEERS ANSWER CALLS FROM PEOPLE NEEDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, REFERRAL INFORMATION, OR CRISIS INTERVENTION. ALL CALLS ARE CONFIDENTIAL AND CALLERS ARE FREE TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS. OUR LINES ARE ANSWERED 24 HOURS A DAY,7 DAYS A WEEK, AND HAVE BEEN SINCE 1962.
