FARM BUREAU IS AN ORGANIZATION OF FARM AND RANCH FAMILIES UNITED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ANALYZING THEIR PROBLEMS AND FORMULATING ACTION TO ACHIEVE EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, AND SOCIAL ADVANCEMENT AND, THEREBY, PROMOTING THE NATIONAL WELL-BEING.

MAJOR PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE ANIMAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR COMPLIANCE OF THE FEDERAL CLEAN WATER ACT; AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS BENEFITING OVER 7,000 STUDENTS; SAFETY AND LABOR TRAINING FOR FARM WORKERS SERVING SEVERAL HUNDRED EMPLOYEES; ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE PROGRAMS ADDRESSING ENDANGERED SPECIES, SERVING THOUSANDS IN THE COMMUNITY; AS WELL AS OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS.
