Part 3
PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 5-11 AND SUPPORT THOSE WISHING TO FURTHER THEIR PLAYING CAREER INTO COLLEGE. ORIGINATING IN 2015 WITH 2 TEAMS AND ABOUT 40 PLAYERS, WE HAVE 8 TEAMS AND APPROXIMATELY 150 PLAYERS AS OF 2023. CAV LAX ELITE (THE "CLUB") PLACES EMPHASIS ON SKILL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. THIS INCLUDES POSITIVE PRACTICE HABITS, DEVELOPING WORK ETHIC, AND UNDERSTANDING HOW TO BE A GREAT TEAMMATE. THESE ARE ALL CORE LIFE SKILLS THAT WILL LAST. WE ACTIVELY ENGAGE ALL PLAYERS AND FAMILIES IN A REQUIRED PROGRAM THAT ADDRESSES THE DANGERS OF DRUGS/ALCOHOL/SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND A SEPARATE ONE THAT PROMOTES A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH SOCIAL MEDIA. THESE PROGRAMS AID IN DEVELOPING HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, MORE CONFIDENT GIRLS.
