DURING 2023, THE FOUNDATION'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING:COMBAT MEDIC TRAINING PROGRAM: BEGAN PURCHASING THE COMPONENTS FOR 32 CLASSROOM SETS OF SOPHISTICATED MEDICAL EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT. EXECUTED THE PURCHASE OF ALL EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT, SHIPPING IT TO A SECURE WAREHOUSE IN UKRAINE, AND BEGAN THE PURCHASE OF THE FIRST FOUR PICKUP TRUCKS FOR THE MOBILE INSTRUCTOR TEAMS. (PART OF THE FUNDS FOR THIS ACTIVITY WERE MANAGED BY THE COLUMBUS FOUNDATION.)MEDICAL AID: MANAGED THE CASE OF A WOUNDED SOLDIER WHO LOST BOTH ARMS AND HIS VISION. WORKED WITH MEDICAL DOCTORS AT TWO AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES TO FACILITATE ANDRII'S TRANSFER TO THE U.S. FOR AN EVALUATION FOR A POTENTIAL BILATERAL HAND TRANSPLANT PROCEDURE AT UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA MEDICAL CENTER IN PHILADELPHIA. ESTABLISHED COORDINATION BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF UKRAINE AND WORLD-LEADING U.S. MEDICAL RESEARCH FACILITIES.DEEPFAKE DETECTION TECHNOLOGY: PARTNERED WITH A U.S. AI COMPANY TO DONATE CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGIES THAT HELP TO IDENTIFY DOCTORED AUDIO AND VIDEO MESSAGES.DEMINING: WORKED WITH TWO U.S. COMPANIES TO ACCELERATE DEMINING.
