UNITED HOMECARE SERVICES PROVIDED IN-HOME CARE TO 385 INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS LIVING IN OREGON COMMUNITIES IN 2023. THESE CLIENTS ARE SUPPORTED THROUGH PROVISION OF ADLS (ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING) INCLUDING BATHING, DRESSING, AMBULATION/ TRANSFERS, EATING AND TOILETING. WE ALSO PROVIDED THE NEEDED SUPPORT TO AGE-IN-PLACE WITH IADL SERVICES (INSTRUMENTAL ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING) INCLUDING HOUSEHOLD UPKEEP, TRANSPORTATION, SHOPPING, MEAL PREP AND COMPANIONSHIP. BY PROVIDING THESE SERVICES, UNITED HOMECARE SERVICES RELIEVED FAMILY MEMBERS WHO SOMETIMES PROVIDED CARE 24 HRS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK. THESE DIRECT CARE AND RESPITE SERVICES WERE ALSO VITAL RESOURCES TO THE THE LONG-TERM CARE CONTINUUM BY MEETING ELDERS NEEDS AT THE LOWEST LEVEL OF THE CARE CONTINUUM.
