THE WAR PREVENTION INITIATIVE (WPI) BRINGS TOGETHER ACADEMICS AND ACTIVISTS TO FOCUS ON BUILDING THE CASE FOR NON-VIOLENCE AND PEACE BUILDING AND DEMONSTRATING THAT DIPLOMACY AND NON-VIOLENCE IS MORE EFFECTIVE IN SETTLING CONFLICTS THAN MILITARY INTERVENTION.


ENVIRONMENT - TO PROTECT AND RESTORE NATURAL FOREST AND FRESHWATER HABITATS THROUGHOUT OREGON FOR THIS AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
