DIGNITY50:DURING THE YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 2022, THROUGH OUR CORE PROGRAM, DIGNITY50, DEATH WITH DIGNITY CONTINUED TO PROVIDE PUBLIC POLICY ANALYSIS TO STAKEHOLDERS INTERESTED IN DEATH WITH DIGNITY LAWS. WE RESPONDED TO PHONE, EMAIL, AND SOCIAL MEDIA QUERIES, PROVIDING ASSISTANCE SURROUNDING DEATH WITH DIGNITY AND RELATED TOPICS. WE SHARED THE LATEST STATISTICS AND RESEARCH, INCLUDING IMPLEMENTATION DATA AND LAUNCHED INTERACTIVE TOOLS AND PAGES ON OUR NEWLY BRANDED WEBSITE, TO PROVIDE EFFICIENT USER EXPERIENCES.

OUR SOCIAL WORK TEAM PROVIDED INFORMATION TO 1,937 INDIVIDUALS VIA EMAIL AND ADDITIONAL REFERRALS TO PATIENTS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS THROUGH PHONE AND SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION, DISTRIBUTED OUR QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, AND FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON DIGITAL COMMUNICATION, THROUGH A STRONG EMAIL PROGRAM, MORE CONSISTENT WEBSITE CONTENT UPDATES, AND A RIGOROUS SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE. WITH OUR REBRANDING AND NEW WEBSITE, WE FOCUSED ON USER ACCESS AND EXPERIENCE, WHICH HAS BOLSTERED OUR EDUCATION EFFORTS. WE HAVE STARTED WORKING ON NATIONAL CAMPAIGNS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AROUND END-OF-LIFE TOPICS, INCLUDING BEREAVEMENT BENEFITS AND USING OUR UPDATED "LIFE FILE" TOOL FOR FOLKS TO BE BETTER PREPARED FOR END-OF-LIFE PLANNING.
COMMUNICATION: WE PROMOTED DEATH WITH DIGNITY AND RELATED TOPICS ON OUR NEW WEBSITE, INCLUDING MONTHLY NEWS UPDATES, AN INTERACTIVE STATES PAGE WITH CONSISTENTLY UPDATED STATUS ON ALL STATES IN TERMS OF DEATH WITH DIGNITY LAWS/LEGISLATION, AND BOLSTERED OUR STORYTELLING PROGRAM, WITH NEW STORIES ABOUT PATIENTS AND LOVED ONES 1-3 TIMES EACH MONTH. WE HAVE STARTED POSTING UPDATES AND PROMOTING THIS MOVEMENT TO STAKEHOLDERS ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK AND NOW HAVE DEDICATED STAFF TO RESPOND TO QUERIES IN REAL TIME. WE HAVE STARTED TO CREATE SHAREABLE CONTENT IN OUR EMAILS AND SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS, SO ADVOCATES CAN SHARE EASILY AND PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS. WE FOCUSED ON REACHING WIDER AUDIENCES, INCLUDING LAWMAKERS, PATIENTS WITH TERMINAL ILLNESS, AND CARE PROVIDERS.
