TO PRESERVE, PROTECT AND RESTORE FISH AND WILDLIFE HABITAT AND WATER QUALITY OF THE MOLALLA RIVER WATERSHED THROUGH EDUCATION, CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION ACTIVITIES FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

MOLALLA RIVER WATCH WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH VOLUNTEERS ON A RIVERSIDE TRASH CLEANUPS AND A WILDLIFE SURVEY. WE WORKED WITH CONTRACTORS TO CONTINUE GATHERING AND ANALYZING SITE CONDITIONS AND PLANNING RESTORATION WORK AT MOLALLA RIVER STATE PARK WITH OUR PARTNERS AR OREGON DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. WE ALSO CONTINUED TO WORK WITH CONTRACTORS IN TREATING INVASIVE PLANTS AT MOLALLA RIVER STATE PARK AND WORKED ON NATIVE PLANTINGS. MOLALLA RIVER WATCH ALSO WORKED WITH PARTNERS IN PURSUING FUNDING FOR FUTURE RESTORATION PROJECTS. DUE TO THE RIVERSIDE AND BEACHIE CREEK FIRES IN THE WATERSHED, WE WORKED ON GAINING WILDFIRE RECOVERY KNOWLEDGE (HAZARD TREE, EROSION, REFORESTATION, RECOVERY FUNDING, SOURCES, ETC.) AND SHARING WITH THE COMMUNITY.
