THE OBA EDUCATION FOUNDATION'S OVERALL MISSION IS EDUCATION. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO EXPLORE AND ENHANCE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN AREAS OF BANKING, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FINANCE, FINANCIAL LITERACY, BUSINESS, FINANCIAL PLANNING AND OTHER RELATED SUBJECTS.

THE OBA EDUCATION FOUNDATION FOCUSED ON ENHANCING FINANCIAL LITERACY IN OREGON AND DEVELOPING FUTURE GENERATIONS OF OREGON BANKERS. CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE OBA EDUCATION FOUNDATION HELPED SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING INITIATIVES IN 2021: PARTNERED WITH OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY AND UNIVERSITY OF OREGON TO SUPPORT COMMERCIAL BANKING EDUCATION AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT. ENGAGED IN FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND PROVIDED GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS FINANCIAL BEGINNINGS, JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT FINANCE PARK, WILLAMETTE ACADEMY, COLLEGE POSSIBLE, CENTRO CULTURAL OF WASHINGTON COUNTY AND OTHERS. PROMOTED FINANCIAL EDUCATION INITIATIVES LIKE FINANCIAL LITERACY MONTH, GET SMART ABOUT CREDIT DAY AND TEACH CHILDREN TO SAVE DAY.
