WILLOWBROOKS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDRENS CREATIVE POTENTIAL. WILLOWBROOK RUNS A 6-WEEK OUTDOOR SUMMER ARTS CAMP THAT SERVES CHILDREN OF ALL AGES.

OPERATING SINCE 1982 WILLOWBROOK OFFERS AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE TO CAMPERS RANGING FROM 3 TO 18 YEARS OF AGE. IN ADDITION, WILLOWBROOK HAS RECEIVED REPEATED ACCOLADES FOR ARTS EDUCATION, INCLUDING RECOGNITION BY NW KIDS MAGAZINE AS BEST SUMMER CAMP. WILLOWBROOK PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN TO DEVELOP THEIR CREATIVE POTENTIAL THROUGH EXPERIENCES IN THE ARTS AND NATURE IN AN ATMOSPHERE THAT MENTORS AND NURTURES THE WHOLE CHILD, PROMOTES A SPIRIT OF PEACEFUL COLLABORATION, AND ENCOURAGES INDIVIDUAL EXPLORATION AND EXPRESSION. WILLOWBROOK IS DIVIDED INTO THREE DISTINCT PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCES: 1) SQUIRRELS NEST FOR CAMPERS AGES 3-4; 2) VILLAGE FOR AGES 5-7; AND 3) ARTISAN FOR AGES 8-18. THESE PROGRAMS OFFER ACTIVITIES IN MORE THAN 30 DIFFERENT VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS AND NATURE AREAS. THE ORGANIZATION IS LED BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. IT ALSO HAS A FULL TIME YEAR ROUND BUSINESS MANAGER AND PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND ONE PART TIME COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR.
