ADVOCACY SERVICES: CRISIS AND SUPPORT CENTER IN EUGENE PROVIDES FULL SERVICES TO SURVIVORS AND THEIR CHILDREN. THE 24/7 CRISIS AND SUPPORT LINE IS STAFFED BY VOLUNTEERS AND ADVOCATES. WE PROVIDE BILININGUAL/BICULTURAL SPANISH SPEAKING ADVOCATES AND AT FRONT DESK AS WELL AS THROUGH INTERPRETERS FOR OTHER LANGUAGES, INCLUDING SIGN. CERTIFIED ADVOCATES PROVIDE WALK-IN SERVICES, FOOD, SUPPLIES, CLOTHING, CRISIS INTERVENTION, SAFETY PLANNING, EMERGENCY SAFE HOUSING, CO-LOCATED SERVICES WITH ODHS CHILD WELFARE AND SELF SUFFICIENCY AND OREGON LAW CENTER AND UNIVERSITY OF OREGON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CLINIC. AS WELL AS RESPITE SUPPORT FOR CHILRDEN WHILE PARENT IS MEETING WITH ADVOCATE. SUPPORT GROUPS AND PARENT IN CRISIS TRAINING ARE PROVIDED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH


EMERGENCY SERVICES: PROVIDES 24 HOUR EMERGENCY SAFE HOUSING AND SUPPORT FOR SURVIVORS FLEEING ABUSE OR ARE IN DANGER. CERTIFIED ADVOCATES RESPOND 24/7 TO CRISIS LINE CALLS PROVIDING LIFESAVING SUPPORT, SAFETY PLANNING, AND REFERRALS TO PROGRAMS OR OTHER COMMUNITY RESOURCES. SAFE HOUSING PROVIDES A SAFE AND CONFIDENTIAL PLACE FOR SURVIVORS AND THEIR CHILDREN TO STAY DURING A DIFFICULT AND CRITICAL TIME. OUR TOP PRIORITY IS PROVIDING THE SPACE FOR SURVIVORS TO RECOVER AND BEGIN TO HEAL FROM TRAUMA. WE PROVIDE CULTURALLY SPECIFIC FOOD, CLOTHING, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND ASSIST WITH NAVIGATING COMPLEX LEGAL SYSTEMS: RESTRAINING ORDERS, DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS, AND CUSTODY HEARINGS. WE ALSO PROVIDE SUPPORT WITH CHILD WELFARE, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, AND EMPLOYMENT TRAINING.


MOBILE SERVICES: LANE COUNTY STRETCHES 4,700 SQUARE MILES, FROM COAST TO CASCADES, WITH A POPULATION OVER 370,000. MORE THAN 150,000 PEOPLE LIVE OUTSIDE THE EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD METRO AREA. MOBILE BILINGUAL CERTIFIED ADVOCATES PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION, SAFETY PLANNING, OUTREACH, EDUCATION, AND LEGAL ADVOCACY SPECIFIC THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES FACED BY VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN RURAL AREAS. IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE TO ACCESS SERVICES, WE HAVE SATELLITE OFFICES IN COTTAGE GROVE, CRESWELL, JUNCTION CITY, OAKRIDGE, VENETA AND SPRINGFIELD. THE MOBILE OUTREACH TEAM PROVIDES HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION, COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TRAINING TO COMMUNITY PARTNERS, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, AS WELL AS WORKING WITH THE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES IN THE AREA.


HOUSING SUPPORT SERVICES: CERTIFIED ADVOCATES PROVIDE CASE MANGEMENT SUPPORT FOR SURVIVORS TO FIND HOUSING AND TO STAY HOUSED. FINANCIAL ABUSE IS A COMMON TACTIC OF ABUSERS, WE HELP SURIVIVORS RESTORE CREDIT, REPAIR RENTAL HISTORY AND OTHER SUPPORT THEY MIGHT NEED TO BE PERMANENTLY HOUSED, INCLUDING RENTAL ASSISTANCE. ADVOCATES PROVIDE HOUSING NAVIGATION SERVICES FOR SURIVIVORS, WORKING WITH HOUSING PARTNERS AND IDENTIFYING PROPERTIES THAT HAVE VANCANCIES. WORKING TO HELP REMOVE BARRIERS IN THE WAY TO GETTING HOUSED.
