THE CHAMBER'S MISSION IS TO ENGAGE THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO ENHANCE A VIBRANT REGIONAL ECONOMY BY ADVOCATING FOR EDUCATION, TRAINING AND WORKFORE DEVELOPMENT IN THE CLACKAMAS REGION BY BECOMING A PREFERRED REGIONAL RESOURCE FOR SERVICES AND THAT SUPPORT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY ADVANCEMENT AND BY INFLUENCING AND SHAPING POLICIES THAT STRENGTHEN OREGON'S BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT TO FOSTER COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INVESTEMENTS IN CLACKAMAS COUNTY.

ACCESS: OPPORTUNITY FOR NETWORKING AND ACCESSING DIVERSE RESOURCES THROUGH FORUMS, EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS AND APPROXIMATELY 50 AM BUSINESS CONNECTION EVENTS PER YEAR. ATTENDANCE AT EACH EVENT WE HOLD RANGES FROM 25 UP TO 250.
ECONOMIC STRENGTH AND COMMUNITY: SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES WHO ARE STILL RECOVERING DUE TO THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19 BY PROVIDING PRE-PAID CONSULTING AND MARKETING RESOURCES NEEDED TO ENSURE ONGOING BUSINESS. SUPPORT WORKFORCE JOB TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT, WORKING WITH OUR LOCAL COUNTY AGENCIES, COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND WORKFORCE PARTNERS. WORKING WITH STATE WIDE ASSOCIATIONS TO PREVENT ADDITIONAL TAXES AND REGULATIONS THAT COULD CREATE FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS FOR BUSINESSES.
COMMUNITY: SERVE APPROXIMATELY 400 MEMBERS AND THEIR 25,000 EMPLOYEES BY PROVIDING A DIRECT LINK TO ALL MAJOR BUSINESS, ECONOMIC, GOVERNMENTAL, AND COMMUNITY DECISION MAKING IN CLACKAMAS COUNTY.
