IBEW LOCAL NO. 48 (A LABOR ORGANIZATION UNDER SECTION 501(C)(5) WITH APPROXIMATELY 5,535 MEMBERS AT DECEMBER 31, 2021) WORKS TO ORGANIZE ALL WORKERS IN THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY, TO PROMOTE REASONABLE METHODS OF WORK, SETTLE ALL DISPUTES BY ARBITRATION IF POSSIBLE, TO ASSIST EACH OTHER IN SICKNESS OR DISTRESS, TO SECURE EMPLOYMENT FOR ADEQUATE PAY, AND TO ELEVATE THE MORAL, INTELLECTUAL AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS OF ITS MEMBERS.
