JOURNEY BAGS DISTRIBUTES BAGS THAT ARE FILLED WITH THINGS A CANCER PATIENT WILL NEED AS THEY BEGIN CANCER TREATMENTS SUCH AS A BLANKET, WATER, BOTTLE, CAPS, AND OTHER COMFORT ITEMS. THE BAG WILL ALSO INCLUDE A LIST OF RESOURCES TO QUIDE THEM THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT JOURNEY. THE BAGS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL PATIENTS AT LOCAL HOSPITALS WHO ARE RECEIVING A FIRST-TIME CANCER DIAGNOSIS. BAGS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE ONLINE FOR DONORS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COST OF THE BAG AND REQUEST IT TO BE SHIPPED TO A PATIENT ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES.
