ROOTED IN TDECU'S MISSION TO HELP PEOPLE NAVIGATE THEIR FINANCIAL JOURNEYS, THE TDECU CARES FOUNDATION EXTENDS THIS COMMITMENT TO BROADER COMMUNITY WELL-BEING. AS FINANCIAL SOLVERS, WE INVEST IN INITIATIVES TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TAILORED HEALTH PROGRAMS THAT REMOVE FINANCIAL BARRIERS, AND LOCAL COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS THAT FOSTER ECONOMIC GROWTH. THIS MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED BY ADMINISTERING A GRANT DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM AND THE AWARD RECIPIENTS OF THESE GRANTS CARRY FORTH THESE INITIATIVES IN THE COMMUNITY.

PURPOSE: DONATION OF $5,000 WILL EMPOWER 120 UNDERSERVED HISD/ALDINE PUBLIC SCHOOLS' STUDENTS TO EMBARK ON A TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY THROUGH THE BETHE PEACE-BE THE HOPE PROGRAM. THE SUPPORT WILL PLAY A PIVOTAL ROLE IN HELPING THESE STUDENTS OVERCOME TRAUMA, COMBAT BULLYING, CONQUER ISOLATION, ANDREDISCOVER HOPE.
