A. HAPPY 50 PLUS FOUNDATION WAS SELECTED TO PARTNER WITH USAGING ON AN ACL GRANT TO INCREASE THE COVID-19 AND INFLUENZA VACCINE UPTAKE AMONG OLDER ADULTS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.B. HAPPY 50 PLUS FOUNDATION WAS AWARDED A GRANT BY THE CALIFORNIA FIRE FOUNDATION TO DISSEMINATE IN-LANGUAGE WILDFIRE SAFETY AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION TO OLDER CHINESE AMERICANS WITH LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY THROUGH A SERIES OF SOCIAL MEDIA OUTREACH AND AN EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS CONFERENCE.C.HAPPY 50 PLUS FOUNDATION RECEIVED A GRANT FROM CALMHSA/LOS ANGELES COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO INCREASE ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, REDUCE MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION, AND EXPAND HELP-SEEKING BEHAVIOR AMONG OLDER CHINESE AMERICANS. TO SUPPORT AN ARRAY OF VACCINATION EDUCATION AND PROMOTION ACTIVITIES , INCLUDING COMMUNITY VACCINE CLINICS, IN-HOME VACCINATIONS, TRANSPORTATION TO VACCINATION SITES, VOLUNTEER TRAINING/RECOGNITION, PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS EFFORTS, VACCINE INCENTIVES, AND IN-LANGUAGE OUTREACH AND EDUCATION FOR OLDER ADULTS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. THE ADVC IS FUNDED THROUGH A GRANT FROM THE U.S. ADMINISTRATION FOR COMMUNITY LIVING (ACL).


CONNECTING PEOPLE, INFORMATION, RESOURCES, AND COMMUNITIES TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF 12,000 OLDER ADULTS WITH LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY. COMMITTED TO PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE AND ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR SENIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES.
