TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND WELL BEING OF SCHOOL CHILDREN, PROTECTING AND PROMOTING THE WELFARE AND ECONOMIC VIABILITY OF THE TEACHERS IN THE DISTRICT, AND PROVIDING A UNIFIED VOICE WITH WHICH TEACHERS MAY EXPRESS THEIR OPINIONS BEFORE THE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND OTHER LEGAL AUTHORITIES.

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, MENTORSHIP, AND CONFERENCES:MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SUPPORTING TEACHERS ON GUIDANCE OF BEST PRACTICES. SOLELY ASSOCIATED BY HOSTING THE ASSOCIATION GOOD TEACHING INSTITUTE, WHICH IS ELIGIBLE FOR COLLEGE CREDIT. MENTORSHIP REVOLVING AROUND AN INDUCTION PROGRAM TO SUPPORT INEXPERIENCED TEACHERS WITH GUIDANCE ON THE NECESSARY MODELS AND TOOLS AS THEY TRANSITION INTO THE FIELD. CONFERENCES PROGRAM SUPPORTING MEMBERS WHO ATTEND LOCAL AND NATIONAL CONFERENCES WITH THE FOCUS ON LEADERSHIP TRAININGS.
