THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION SHALL BE FOR THE EDUCATION OF INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN THE GAME OF SOCCER, AND FOR ITS PROMOTION, AND ADMINISTRATION FOR PLAYERS UNDER NINETEEN YEARS OF AGE WITHIN THE FAIRBANKS AREA.

FAIRBANKS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (FYSA) IS A FUN BASED PROGRAM TO INTRODUCE SOCCER TO OUR YOUTH BY OFFERING PLAYERS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR FUN, FITNESS, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND FRIENDSHIP. THE PROGRAM OPERATES UNDER THE SIMPLE BELIEF THAT KIDS LEARN BY PLAYING. FYSA PROVIDES PLAYING FIELDS, FIELD MAINTENANCE, EQUIPMENT, COACHES AND REFEREES TO PROMOTE SOCCER FOR OVER 3000 YOUTH PLAYERS, AGES 4 THROUGH 19 YEARS, ANNUALLY. FYSA OFFERS LOW REGISTRATION FEES FOR YOUTH PLAYERS, WHICH ONLY PARTIALLY DEFRAY THE COSTS OF PLAYER UNIFORMS, REFEREES, INSURANCE, AND SOME OF OUR FIELD DEVELOPMENT COSTS. IN JULY 2020, FYSA ORGANIZED AND OFFERED AN INAUGURAL YEAR OF FAIRBANKS LACROSSE FOR YOUTH PLAYERS.
