TO PROVIDE ANIMAL CONTROL AND LICENSING FOR 14,000 SQUARE MILES AND SERVICE THE POPULATION OF 105,000 IN COWLITZ COUNTY INCLUDING THE FIVE INCORPORATED CITIES WITHIN THAT COUNTY.


TO PROVIDE A CREMATORY WHERE DECEASED ANIMALS CAN BE DISPOSED.


MEDICAL SERVICES - SPAY AND NEUTER OF IMPOUNDED PETS, AND FOR CATS THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED TO THE PUBLIC. VACCINES AND IDENTIFICATION MICROCHIPS FOR ADOPTED PETS. CARE OF SHELTER ANIMALS. PUBLIC EDUCATION - PROVIDE SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR HUMANE TREATMENT AND KINDNESS TO ANIMALS, PET RESPONSIBILITY AND THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAY AND NEUTER OF PETS TO HELP REDUCE THE POPULATION OF UNALTERED ANIMALS.
