YPI HAS CONTINUED TO FULFILL ITS MISSION IN THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- INCREASED THE NUMBER OF SCHOOLS WE TEACH IN BY 50%, ADDING AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI IN BERKELEY TO RIVER MONTESSORI CHARTER SCHOOL IN PETALUMA.- INCREASED THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS WE TEACH BY 10%.- GIFTED 6 STUDENTS WITH FULL AND PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDED BY YPI.- CONTINUED TO WORK WITH FORMER STUDENTS, NOW IN DENMARK, THROUGH ZOOM.- CONTINUED TO ADD NEW ADULT STUDENTS TO OUR ROSTER.- HELD A FULL SCALE CONCERT IN MAY AT THE JUNCTION IN MILL VALLEY (SEE NEWSLETTER BELOW). -KEPT PARENTS IN TOUCH WITH OUR NEWSLETTERS ON A REGULAR BASIS (SEE NEWSLETTER BELOW).- RECEIVED A $2,500 GRANT FROM MARIN COUNTY TO HIRE A GRANT WRITER.- MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE HAVE CREATED COMMUNITY THROUGH MUSIC, PROVIDED FOR ALL STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ECONOMIC STATUS, WITH THE VERY BEST INSTRUCTION IN MUSIC; AND THROUGH THIS FOSTERED IN EACH STUDENT A SENSE OF COMPETENCE, SELF-CONFIDENCE, FULFILLMENT, AND AN OPEN HEART.
