CATHERINE PLACE IS A WOMEN'S CENTER PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL ADVOCACY, SUPPORT GROUPS, AND HOLISTIC PROGRAMS. OUR MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF WOMEN THROUGH HOPE, HEALING, AND CONNECTION.

INDIVIDUAL ADVOCACY: SUPPORT FOR GRIEF/LOSS, ILLNESS, LIFE TRANSITION, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, CRIME, IMMIGRATION, AND POVERTY, BUILDING EMPOWERMENT AND NETWORKS IN A NON-JUDGMENTAL SETTING.


GROUPS: WOMEN FIND INSIGHTS AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, PROVIDING AND RECEIVING SUPPORT FROM PEERS. 'YES, WE CAN- AND 'SI, SE PUEDE' ARE CIRCLE MODEL LEADERSHIP TRAINING GROUPS. CIRCLES FOSTER SELF-LEADERSHIP IN ALL PARTICIPANTS THROUGH A MODEL OF ROTATING RESPONSIBILITY.


HEALING ARTS: WORKSHOPS ENABLE WOMEN TO EXPERIENCE NEW ART FORMS, ALTERNATIVE HEALING AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN A SAFE, SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. SPECIALIZED HEALING SERVICES PROMOTE RELAXATION AND SELF-CARE, INCLUDING; REIKI, MASSAGE, BIOMAT, YOGA, AND AROMATHERAPY.
