TO HELP STRENGTHEN NEW HAMPSHIRE COMMUNITIES BY FOSTERING A SPIRIT OF SERVICE AND VOLUNTEERISM AMOUNG ITS CITIZENS OF ALL AGES AND CARRY OUT A NATIONAL SERVICE PROGRAM AS AUTHRORIZED BY THE NATIONAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICE ACT OF 1990. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ADMINISTERING THE AMERICORPS AND ORGANIZING VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION EVENTS.FORM 990, PART I, LINE 6VOLUNTEER NH! IS THE CENTRAL HUB FOR THE NATIONAL SERVICE NETWORK IN NEW HAMPSHIRE OF OVER 300 VOLUNTEERS (REFERRED TO AS MEMBERS) IN SERVICE TO NH THROUGH AMERICORPS PROGRAMS.IN ADDITION, WE UTILIZE INTERNS AND VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF PROGRAMS AND EVENTS OF THE ORGANIZATION, SUCH AS: REVIEW AMERICORPS STATE GRANT APPLICATIONS; REVIEW AWARD NOMINATIONS; AND ASSIST WITH THE PLANNING OF TRAINING, AMERICORPS MEMBERS SERVE AS SUPPORT FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS, DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN, ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS, AND IN SEVERAL OTHER VITAL ROLES.
