BY PERMITTING THE USE OF HIS IMAGE AND AWARDS FOR THE CREATION OF A NFT, FUNDS WERE DONATED TO THE FOUNDATION THAT WILL BE DEDICATED TO FULFILLING WILLIE MAYS' DREAM OF GIVING EVERY CHILD A CHANCE BY OFFERING UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH POSITIVE OPPORTUNITIES AND SAFER COMMUNITIES.
STRENGTHEN FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES. FROM THE DONATION OF TICKETS TO USE THEIR FACILITIES, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WERE ABLE TO SHARE QUALITY TIME AT THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS EVENTS. DONOR PROVIDED VALUE OF THE USE OF THESE FACILITIES WAS IN EXCESS OF $80,000. WHILE SIGNIFICANTLY LIMITED IN 2020 DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS, ORGANIZATIONS RECEIVING DONATED TICKET BENEFITS GENERALLY INCLUDE THE SAN MATEO COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT YOUTH PROGRAM, SAN FRANCISCO PAROLE OFFICERS' GROUP, STANFORD HOSPITAL, EAST BAY LITTLE LEAGUE AND LITTLE LEAGUE ALL-STARS AND OTHERS FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN & FAMILIES.
