COMMUNICATIONS - ENGAGING, INVOLVING, AND EDUCATING PEOPLE FROM A VARIETY OF SECTORS AND INTERESTS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES AND SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD AND HELPING TO BUILD SUPPORT AMONGST VARIOUS SECTORS FOR MSC-CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD.


FISHERIES OUTREACH - TO WORK WITH FISHERIES AROUND THE AMERICAS INTERESTED IN BECOMING CERTIFIED TO THE MSC STANDARD FOR SUSTAINABILITY. PROVIDE INFORMATION, TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE TO THOSE INTERESTED FISHERIES AND HELP THEM TO ENGAGE IN THE MSC PROGRAM.


COMMERCIAL OUTREACH - WORKING WITH VARIOUS ELEMENTS OF THE SEAFOOD SUPPLY CHAIN TO HELP THEM BECOME CHAIN OF CUSTODY CERTIFIED SO THAT THEY CAN BUY AND SELL MSC-CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD, AND PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE FISHING PRACTICES IN THAT WAY.
