THE NORTHWEST AVALANCHE CENTER (NWAC) EXISTS TO INCREASE AVALANCHE AWARENESS, REDUCE AVALANCHE IMPACTS, AND EQUIP THE COMMUNITY WITH MOUNTAIN WEATHER AND AVALANCHE FORECASTS, EDUCATION, AND DATA.

SUPPORT OF THE US FOREST SERVICE AVALANCHE FORECASTING FOR THE NORTHWEST PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE USFS.


NWAC WEBSITE CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORTHWEST AVALANCHE CENTER WEBSITE.


PUBLIC EDUCATION PROVIDED AVALANCHE SAFETY AND AWARENESS EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC, REACHING A WIDE RANGE OF WINTER OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS.
