TO PROMOTE, FOSTER, AND FACILITATE THE SPORTS OF ROWING AND PADDLING HUMAN-POWERED WATERCRAFT; TO PRESERVE THE HERITAGE AND HISTORY OF THESE SPORTS; AND TO ORGANIZE AND OPERATE A COMMUNITY FACILITY THAT IS DEVOTED TO THESE SPORTS.

PROVIDED ROWING EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS TO YOUTH AND ADULTS; CONDUCTED SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, AND WINTER ROWING PROGRAMS FOR ABOUT 100 YOUTH GIRLS AND BOYS AGED 12-18; CONDUCTED SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, AND WINTER ADULT COACHED PROGRAMS FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 ADULTS. CONDUCTED LEARN TO ROW CLASSES FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 ADULTS WHO WERE NEW TO THE SPORT. PROVIDED ACCESS TO FACILITIES, VOLUNTEER SUPPORT, AND RACE PARTICIPANTS FOR THE BUDD BAY REGATTA, WHICH WAS PUT ON BY THE SOUND ROWERS AND PADDLERS ASSOCIATION, ANOTHER 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.


DEVELOPED AND MAINTAINED WATER ACCESS (DOCKS, RAMPS, AND BOAT STORAGE) FOR VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF ROWED BOATS; PROVIDED RECREATIONAL ROWING OPPORTUNITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 80 ADULT MEMBERS AND 100 YOUTH PARTICIPANTS; PROVIDED WATER ACCESS AND STORAGE FACILITIES FOR THE CITY OF OLYMPIA PARKS, ARTS, AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT; PROVIDED WATER ACCESS (USE OF DOCK) TO MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC WHO USE KAYAKS, CANOES, PADDLE BOARDS, AND OTHER HUMAN-POWERED CRAFT.
