THE VOLUNTARY PROTECTION PROGRAMS PARTICIPANTS' ASSOCIATION, INC. (VPPPA) IS THE LEADING ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO COOPERATIVE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. THE VPPPA PROVIDES A NETWORK OF OVER 2,100 COMPANIES OF WORKSITES THAT ARE INVOLVED IN, OR IN THE PROCESS OF APPLYING TO, THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION'S VOLUNTARY PROTECTION PROGRAMS AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES THAT ARE DEVELOPING OR IMPLEMENTING COOPERATIVE RECOGNITION PROGRAMS.
