THE YORK COUNTY HEALTH COALITION SEEKS TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY BASED SYSTEM OF CARE THAT IS PRO-ACTIVE AND FAMILY CENTERED. THE COALITION IS DEDICATED TO PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING PROCESSES THAT PROMOTE PREVENTION THROUGH EDUCATION, TO EARLY IDENIFICATION OF PROBLEMS AND TO EARLY INTERVENTION SO AS TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF EROSION OF OUR FAMILIES. THE GOAL IS TO ASSIST IN THE COORDINATION OF SERVICES TO MAXIMIZE LOCAL, STATE, PRIVATE AND PUBLIC RESOURCES DESIGNED TO SUPPORT STRONGER AND LASTING FAMILIES.

THE COALITION PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES AND RESOURCES TO STRENGTHEN YOUTH AND FAMILIES IN YORK COUNTY, NEBRASKA. SOME OF THE PROGRAMS PROVIDING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY INCLUDE; COMMUNITIES FOR KIDS, COMMUNITY RESPONSE, COVID-19 ASSISTANCE, PREVENTION NETWORK, END OF LIFE AND MANY MORE.
THE YORK PRIDE PACK PROGRAM DISTRIBUTES SUPPLEMENTAL WEEKEND MEALS TO ELIGIBLE FAMILIES IN COLLABORATION WITH YORK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
