PURCHASED A FACILITY THAT HAS BEEN THE PRIMARY FISH HATCHERY AND BROOD PONDS FOR THE COOS WATERSHED. WILL SERVE THE COOS WATERSHED FOR MANY YEARS. PROGRAM EXPENSES WERE FOR,INSURANCE,PROPERTY TAXES,LEGAL FEES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO STRUCTURES. THE FACILITY HAS BEEN USED FOR MANY YEARS BY SCHOOLS TO FIN CLIP AND HATCH SALMONIDS.PROVIDES AN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE. HAS BEEN USED BY 1,000'S OF VISITORS OVER THE YEARS.


TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF SALMONIDS IN OTHER LOCAL STREAMS AND TO PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR OTHER GROUPS AND ASSOCIATIONS TO DEVELOP PROJECTS FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF FISHERIES ON THE SOUTH COAST OF OREGON


IMPROVEMENTS TO A FACILITY THAT HAS BEEN THE PRIMARY FISH INCUBATOR IN THE REGION FOR YEARS. PROVIDES 1,000'S OF CHILDREN A LESSON IN FISH MANAGEMENT.
