GRANTMAKERS ALLOWS FUNDERS TO ENGAGE AT THE LOCAL LEVEL BY PROVIDING A SPACE - BOTH LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY - FOR FUNDERS TO COME TOGETHER TO ADDRESS COMMUNITY ISSUES, EXPLORE SOLUTIONS, CELEBRATE SUCCESSES AND SHARE BEST PRACTICES. GRANTMAKERS IS ONE OF 32 REGIONAL ASSOCIATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTY. WHILE EACH REGIONAL ASSOCIATION IS A DISTINCT ENTITY REFLECTING ITS GEOGRAPHIC REACH, WE ALL SHARE SOME COMMON TRAITS THAT SERVE THE FUNDING COMMUNITY. CORE TO OUR MISSION, ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON EFFECTIVE PHILANTHROPY AND THE CRAFT OF GRANTMAKING. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTED A NUMBER OF AFFINITY GROUPS FOR MEMBERS.OUTREACH, SUPPORT & PARTNERSHIP - FOR THE ORGANIZATIONS WE SERVE, WE ARE AN EDUCATIONAL PARTNER AND ADVISOR, ESPECIALLY AROUND DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION.
