SPAYING AND NEUTERING, VACCINATIONS AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR ABANDONED AND ILL ANIMALS. FINDING HOMES FOR THE ANIMALS AND EDUCATING INDIVIDUALS IN THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF PETS. OTHER THAN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SUCH AS VETERINARIAN AND ACCOUNTING, ALL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT BY A CORE OF APPROXIMATELY 35 VOLUNTEERS. AN AVERAGE OF 750 SPAYS AND NEUTERS ARE DONE EACH YEAR THROUGH THE PUBLIC SPAY/MEUTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
