PROMOTION OF ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE, AND QUALITY HEALTH CARE FOR WASHINGTON STATE. PROVISION OF PRIMARY HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO ALMOST 92,120 NETWORK MEMBERS PRIMARILY PARTICIPATING IN MEDICAID. IN APRIL 2020, THE NETWORK APPLIED FOR AN INSURANCE LICENSE TO OFFER HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE. THE NETWORK WAS SUCCESSFUL IN ITS APPLICATION AND, AS OF JUNE 2020, THE NETWORK BECAME LICENSED AS A HEALTH CARE SERVICE CONTRACTOR BY THE WASHINGTON STATE OFFICE OF THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER (THE OIC). EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2021, THE COMPANY PROVIDES HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE TO ENROLLEES OF THE WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY'S (HCA) MANAGED CARE "PUBLIC OPTION" PROGRAM KNOWN AS CASCADE SELECT. CASCADE SELECT WAS DEVELOPED TO CREATE NEW HEALTH COVERAGE OPTIONS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE WASHINGTON HEALTHPLANFINDER. COMMUNITY HEALTH PLAN OF WASHINGTON (THE PLAN), A CONTROLLED AFFILIATE OF THE NETWORK (COLLECTIVELY, THE COMPANY), IS ALSO A HEALTH CARE SERVICE CONTRACTOR LICENSED BY THE STATE OF WASHINGTON OFFICE OF THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER (THE OIC).
