OUR MISSION IS TO STRENGTHEN WESTERN BY BUILDING STRONG AND CARING RELATIONSHIPS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE AMONG OUR STUDENTS, ALUMNI, FRIENDS AND THE GREATER UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a
TO SUPPORT WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS AND STUDENTS. AAWWU HOSTS AN ANNUAL EVENT TO BRING WWU STUDENTS, ALUMNI, AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. IT IS INTENDED TO WELCOME AND INTRODUCE OUR STUDENTS TO THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY, SO THEY CAN ENGAGE THE FACULTY AND STAFF AND HAVE A SUCCESSFUL WWU EXPERIENCE.
TO SUPPORT ALUMNI THROUGH PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. THESE ARE VARIOUS EVENTS INTENDED TO BRING WWU ALUMNI TOGETHER AND BACK TO CAMPUS TO RETAIN AND ENCOURAGE ENGAGEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY, AND ALSO TO LEAD TO GREATER PHILANTHROPY.
