SKCAC INDUSTRIES AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (SKCAC) IS AN EMPLOYMENT AND COMMUNITY INCLUSION ADVOCATE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. SKCAC PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO BE INCLUDED IN TYPICAL EMPLOYMENT SETTINGS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE WORKING JOB SEEKERS WHO WISH TO DISCOVER THEIR GIFTS AND TALENTS TO DEVELOP THEIR EMPLOYMENT GOALS, NAVIGATE AND DEVELOP JOB OPPORTUNITIES. WE ALSO PROVIDE JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND EMPLOYER, AND PROVIDE TRAINING AND ON-GOING JOB SUPPORT FOR EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS. SKCAC HAS A LONG HISTORY (OVER 55 YEARS) DEVELOPING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO BE EMPLOYED AND INCLUDED IN THEIR COMMUNITY. IN FY2020, SKCAC PLACED 10 JOB SEEKERS IN JOBS DURING A VERY CHALLENGING HEALTH CRISIS, PROVIDED JOB SUPPORTS TO 45 PEOPLE EMPLOYED AND RETURNING TO WORK, AND SERVED OVER 120 INDIVIDUALS ANNUALLY. WE ALSO SUPPORTED 20 PARTICIPANTS WITH PLANNING, DEVELOPING AND RETURNING TO ENGAGING IN COMMUNITY INCLUSION ACTIVITIES IN RETIREMENT.
