YWCA WENATCHEE VALLEY IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING RACISM, EMPOWERING WOMEN AND PROMOTING PEACE, JUSTICE, FREEDOM AND DIGNITY FOR ALL.

YWCA WENATCHEE VALLEY OFFERS HANDS-ON JOB TRAINING THROUGH OUR YWCA STORE. THIS JOB TRAINING IS DESIGNED TO HELP UNDER-EXPERIENCED, UNEMPLOYED, DISADVANTAGED AND HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS GAIN THE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCES NEEDED TO OBTAIN LIVING WAGE JOBS. TRAINEES RECEIVE INDIVIDUALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT FOR HOMELESS AWARENESS AND PREVENTION.


TRANSITIONAL HOUSING CLIENTS RECEIVE CASE MANAGEMENT, OPTIONAL JOB TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES WHILE STILL WORKING TOWARDS GOALS OF ULTIMATELY OBTAINING PERMANENT HOUSING.


EMOGENE'S EMERGENCY HOMELESS SHELTER IS AVAILABLE FOR UP TO 90 DAYS. SHELTER GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO SET GOALS UNIQUE TO THEIR SUCCESS AND MUST WORK TOWARD REACHING THE GOALS DURING THEIR STAY. EMOGENE'S PROVIDES A SAFE AND SECURE PLACE TO STAY WHILE WOMEN WORK TOWARDS BECOMING SELF-SUFFICIENT.
